Bill Raftery isn't exactly the guy you want making sex jokes when you're watching a college basketball game with your family.  During the Notre Dame vs. Pittsburgh game last night the announcing crew was talking about riding the hot player when Raftery asked Jay Bilas "have you ever been ridin."  This caused an awkward moment of silence then someone on the cast saying "let's move quickly ahead to further action."  Not weird at all Bill.  As for the game, Notre Dame only had 19 points in the first half, and still managed to beat #20 ranked Pitt by 9 points.  Yes, Pitt only scored 42 points in the entire game. They couldn't have had anyone that was hot last night with that kind of score.  Check out the funny video below. Check out our Home Page for more stories and follow us on Twitter and Facebook

Jay Bilas calls out NCAA President Mark Emmert, wants him to step down

Jay Bilas has had enough of NCAA president Mark Emmert's nonsense, calls for his resignation.

Bill Raftery asks Jay Bilas an unbelievably awkward question

During last night's Notre Dame vs. Pitt men's basketball game, Bill Raftery became responsible for the most awkard 20 seconds on a telecast this year . Jay Bilas was commenting on Notre Dame's hot-shooting second half, specifically from Jerian Grant, who at the time was shooting 50% from the field. Raftery says, "You ride the hot player." And then... ...

Video: Notre Dame Postgame

Mike Brey said his team's win over Pitt came down to rebounding--a 40-25 edge, to be exact. Notre Dame also held Pitt without a three-pointer, for only the third time in Big East play under Jamie Dixon.

Inside the boxscore: Notre Dame 51, Pitt 42

1. Most game stories will begin like this one, with Jerian Grant and Jack Cooley leading the way for the Irish with 13 points a piece. But it took Grant 15 shots to score 13 points, and it took Cooley just 8. Efficiency, folks. It matters. Grant shot 4-15 from the field and now has failed to make more than half his shot attempts in 12 of 14 Big East games. He also tied his career...

Manti Te’o Feels Hoax Should Not Outshine His Play

If Notre Dame linebacker never got “catfished” NFL scouts would not question his ability to play in the NFL. Well maybe he could fall a few spots down the draft order if NFL teams were judging his performance from the BCS Championship game against Alabama. Yet with the recent drama that surrounded him it seems NFL teams could be asking Te’o more about his fake girlfriend fiasco...

NFL Combine: LB Manti Te’o doesn’t believe hoax will affect draft status

A few weeks ago, Notre Dame LB Manti Te’o became the center of media attention but not for his play on the football field. It was revealed the Te’o was involved in a “catfishing” scheme and had become involved with a woman online that didn’t exist. In the wake of the recent media scrutiny, many have speculated as to how his involvement in this hoax might affect his status...

Open Thread: Notre Dame-Pitt, Break This

Sorry that this is a little slap-dashed. Barely had time to squeeze in a real post earlier today, and the football news had to be done. So, that leaves a weak effort to lead into tonight’s Big Monday. ESPN. 7pm. Raftery, Bilas, McDonough. Big Monday for the last time. If there’s one thing to miss in the end of Pitt’s time in the Big East. It is no more Big Monday. Oh, there...

Texas A&M’s Johnny Manziel Should be Lauded, Not Laughed at For Online Classes

BY J.P. SCOTT ON FEBRUARY 19, 2013 Harvard. Notre Dame. Stanford. Rutgers. All of these institutions have online classes. All of these institutions count these classes toward the completion of their degrees if a student chooses to go that route. I’d bet even money that if you asked the first person you met with a college degree completed in the last ten years, at least one of...
