PLAYERS: Tuukka Rask
TEAMS: Boston Bruins
A.B. According to Toucher & Rich and descriptions/comments on numerous websites – the unnamed reporter from 98.5 The Sports Hub angered Bruins goalie, Tuukka Rask, by touching (and possibly knocking over) his iPad. For me, the story isn’t the swearing on live television. For me, the stare down is the story. If Tuukka had punched the reporter in the face I wouldn’t have been the least bit surprised. When you get a stare down like that, there is a 99.9% chance the person is about to hit you. In the streets it’s 100%, the .1% only applies to professional settings. So why such anger from Tuukka, a guy making enough money to buy enough Apple tablets for a small village? Maybe he has some selfies on his iPad from his smoking hot girlfriend, Jasmiina Nikkila.

Tuukka Rask slips, falls, allows terrible goal

We've all heard that expression "boy, he'd like to have that one back." I'm pretty sure that applies to Tuukka Rask here. In Thursday night's game, with the Bruins up 2-0, Rask moves to his left, slips somehow, and allows a Carl Haglin barely-there shot to roll on by:     There's so much to love/hate about this goal, depending on what team...

Tuukka Rask trips himself up, giving Carl Hagelin easy goal (Video)

Boston Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask gave up an easy goal in the second period of Thursday night's Game 4 against the New York Rangers when he tripped himself up and couldn't recover in time to stop Carl Hagelin's backhand shot on the net. Bruins defender Johnny Boychuk deflected Hagelin's shot and really slowed it down, while Rask was positioning himself for a quick...

WATCH Tuukka Rask have a nice trip

Tuukka Rask (courtesy of We’ve all had that moment of embarrassment where it seems like everybody in the world is watching when it happens. Well in Tuukka Rask’s case it almost was that. Rask tripped and fell on the ice during Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Semi-Finals against the Rangers in Madison Square Garden attempting to make a save on a shot from Rangers...

Tuukka Rask’s Tumble Opens Window for Rangers Comeback, But Bruins Have Ability to Slam It Shut (Video)

The Rangers scored one of the strangest goals you’ll ever see in the second period of Thursday’s Game 4 against the Bruins, and it energized the team. Luckily, the Bruins had an “energy” line waiting to help neutralize the threat. Now, as the Blueshirts head into the third period of what could be their last game of the year, Tuukka Rask and the B’s have a lead — but the...

Video- Bad Goal Of The Night Candidate

Tuukka Rask can't handle the 'changeup' from Carl Hagelin.

Tuukka Rask slips, gives Carl Hagelin easy goal

About a minute after Torey Krug scored to give the Boston Bruins a 2-0 lead on the New York Rangers, Carl Hagelin came down the ice on a rush.  His shot was partially blocked by Johnny Boychuk and Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask tripped over himself trying to come across the crease to stop the shot.  Rask could do nothing but stare at the puck as he sat on his backside and it trickled...

There Will Be a Game 5

Boston boy, Chris Kreider scored a re-directed pass from Rick Nash high past Tuukka Rask for the overtime game winner putting some life back into the Rangers playoff hopes. The Bruins should have easily won this game if it weren't for two "flukes." One where Tuukka Rask fell down and then one where Zdeno Chara lost a puck behind the net.The good news is Tyler Seguin...

Henrik Lundqvist Living Up to Vezina Trophy Billing, Giving Rangers Chance to Steal Game 3 (Video)

Henrik Lundqvist and Tuukka Rask are widely regarded as two of the best goalies in the NHL. Lundqvist is making his case as the best here in Game 3, however. He’s made 23 saves through the first two periods of the Bruins-Rangers clash and is looking poised to steal this game for the Blueshirts. Of course, the B’s still have 20 minutes to see if there’s anything they can do...

The Other Goalie Has Been Better

from Pat Pickens of Slap Shot, At the start of the Rangers’ series with the Boston Bruins in the N.H.L. Eastern Conference semifinals, most fans and pundits gave New York a sizable advantage in goaltending. It is no secret that Henrik Lundqvist is one of the league’s best goalies. He is the defending Vezina Trophy winner and was nominated for the award again this year...

Rangers Score Saddest Goal Ever

The Rangers narrowly escaped being swept on Thursday night as they beat the Bruins 4-3 in overtime.  Upon further review, they REALLY narrowly escaped, especially after seeing one of their goals in slow motion.  Check out the Rangers first goal which featured Carl Hagelin falling down and shooting as he fell but barely getting a stick on it.  Instead of being an easy save, Bruins’...

Vote: Who Has Been the Bruins’ MVP Thus Far in the Playoffs?

There is still a lot of playoff hockey to play (any Bruins fan will assure you that the team’s second-round series with the Rangers is not close to being over), but it’s not too early to take a look at who some of Boston’s top performers have been so far. The short list obviously has to include goalie Tuukka Rask, who leads all netminders with seven wins in the postseason and...
