Boston College hockey player Steven Whitney is currently 3rd on his team in points, but first in goals, and after watching this video you’ll know why.  Whitney has a hell of a shot and a ton of skill and absolutely sniped Vermont’s goalie.  He was knocked down but somehow timed it perfectly so that he was facing the net as the puck came to him.  This play deserves to be on SportCenter’s Top Ten.[YouTube]

Clemson falters at B.C.

Freshman Joe Rahon scored a season-high 26 points and Boston College snapped a five-game losing streak with a 75-68 win over Clemson despite nearly blowing a 17-point lead in the closing 5 1/2 minutes Saturday.
