Another NCAA team is on the move. Boston University announced on Friday that they will accept an invitation to join the Patriot League. Their membership will start effective the 2013-2014 academic year. BU leaves the America East conference, where they have been a member since its foundation in 1979. There is no major change in style of play, as both America East and the Patriot League are Division I schools in the NCAA. All but four of the university's teams will make the change.
