Look, if you expected Florida St. to roll nine 10s onto the court for its first beach season, you’re dreaming. There is a process to building a collegiate beach volleyball team. You might need a few 4s who play like 8s and are fearless against Cal State Fullerton. Give us six 5s who’ll battle Arizona State’s 9s & come away with three-set victories any day. In other news, here is the FSU sand volleyball team.

Please realize this will likely be their game uniform. If you were expecting Jennifer Snyder bikinis, think again. The NCAA is all about protecting its beach volleyballers from you perverts. No bikinis will be worn until ESPN gets involved and then the clothes will start coming off.

Of course Busted Coverage has been one of the leading advocates for collegiate beach volleyball. Our researchers even discovered that FSU’s Stephanie Pellitteri was the first known scholarship recipient for beach volleyball. Ever. Use that some night at the bar. (She’s #2 in the team photo.)

#1 is Jeassica McGregor. Keep your eyes on this chick. Big potential to build an Internet following. She’s a JUCO transfer and has party written across her face.

As for a schedule, nothing has been released. We’re pretty sure FSU has just recently poured the sand for a court.

Infancy, people. Remember where you were before ESPN got involved. Get into this sport before it blows up and all your bros act like they discovered it.
