Found March 28, 2013 on Outside the Boxscore:
Last night, the Boston Bruins fell to the Montreal Canadiens by the score of 6-5 in a shoot-out and it appears that Boston goalie Tuukka Rask was not pleased with losing in a shoot-out. As Rask was making his way to the Bruins bench from the goalie, he ended swinging his stick at the open bench door. Then, he lost his balance and gave us this classic GIF seen below: (Courtesy of Eye on Hockey)

Tuukka Rask Attempts To Go Into Rage Mode, Fails Miserably

One thing you can always count on after a Bruins shootout loss is Tuukka Rask going into full Tuukkamania rage mode. He’s done it so many times that you’d think he’d have it perfected at this point. Guess not…back to the drawing board.

Bruins goalie Tuukka Rask loses it, wipes out after shootout loss (video)

It was a frustrating evening for the Boston Bruins in its tilt against the Montreal Canadiens on Wednesday at the TD Garden. The hometown team blew a two-goal lead in the third period with Andrei Markov capping the Habs’ comeback by scoring with 8.2 seconds left in regulation to tie the game 5-5. After a scoreless overtime, the Bruins ultimately lost to the Montreal Canadiens by...

GIF: Tuukka Rask wasn't happy losing to Montreal

The Boston Bruins lost to the Montreal Canadiens in a shootout after leading by a score of 4-2 after two periods. The Bruins weren't very happy with the result (obviously), but no one displayed their frustration quite like Tuukka Rask. Rask decided to take out his frustration by swinging his stick at the boards as he skated off the ice. The result went about as well as the...

Tyler Seguin’s smelling salts, not coach’s earpiece, fell in fan’s beer (video)

A great internet mystery quickly has been solved due to Boston Bruins center Tyler Seguin was the man responsible for the foreign object that fell in a fan’s beer who was sitting behind the Bruins bench during the team’s game against the Toronto Maple Leafs on Monday night. Originally, it was believed that Bruins assistant coach Geoff Ward was the individual responsible for polluting...

Sweet goal by Boston's Brad Marchand

This is an awesome goal by Boston Bruins forward Brad Marchand, this was the 14th goal of the season for the Little Ball of Hate. This was also the game tying goal for the Boston Bruins. The Bruins would go on to score two more goals by Patrice Bergeron and Nathan Horton. As of late, the Boston Bruins have been goal starved,  as the Boston Bruins scored four unanswered goals...

The cavalry arrives: Jarome Iginla traded to the Boston Bruins

Sure, Wednesday night’s game sucked. It sucked a lot. The Boston Bruins are officially currently the third best team in the Eastern Conference and no amount of talk about “games in hand” or the hot start can change that fact. This team had issues, notably with depth scoring and defense. Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli fixed one of those issues late Wednesday night/early...

Bruins Claim Daugavins, Krug Sent Up

Youngster, Torey Krug might get game time tonight I guess you could call it a busy couple of days for the Bruins. Yesterday they signed defensemen Matt Bartkowski to a one-way one-year deal. They also signed University of Minnesota-Duluth defensemen Chris Casto to an entry level deal. Today the Bruins continued the transactions by signing the infamous Kaspars Daugavins, the one...

Bruins Focused on Players on Team, Moving on After Missing Out on Jarome Iginla (Video)

The Bruins thought they had Jarome Iginla — then they didn’t. After losing out on the longtime Calgary captain to the Pittsburgh Penguins — who had also previously acquired Brenden Morrow and Doug Murray — suggesting it’s panic time for the Bruins might not be too far off the mark. Nonetheless, the players that are actually on the team are staying focused, saying that they’re...

Ty Anderson: Takesy-Backsies: Bruins duped by Iginla, Flames

The Boston Bruins were duped by Jarome Iginla and the Calgary Flames. Of course, Boston general manager Peter Chiarelli wouldn’t say that, but it’s clear that it’s what he felt, thought, and fought back from spilling to the media during today’s impromptu press conference at the TD Garden following the non-trade that’s led to his club watching the 35-year...

Boston Bruins: Last Two Weeks By The Numbers

It’s hard to believe that another two weeks of Bruins hockey have come and gone and the Black and Gold are set to enter the final month of the abbreviated NHL season. With a record of 21-7-4, it is fairly obvious that they are within striking distance of another Northeast Division crown, but as is the case every two weeks, it is time to take a much, much closer look at the team...

Cam Neely Tries to Teach Easter Bunny How to Shoot a Slap Shot (Video)

Give the Unreal Candy company credit: they get some big-name Boston sports starts to shell their product. We’ve already seen what Patriots quarterback Tom Brady can do when he’s left to hang around with the Easter Bunny, but now it’s Bruins president Cam Neely‘s turn to get in on the fun. Neely is the latest Boston hero to make an appearance on the Easter Bunny’s “2013...

Bruins Whiff On Iginla

The Boston Bruins are an excellent hockey club with skill and ability to go far in the playoffs.  What they have not been lately is bold.  Jarome Iginla may have been unattainable because of a desire to play in Pittsburgh, however the Bruins hardly pulled out all the stops to get him.  They should have given Calgary an offer that was far, far above that of any other team.  They...

Bruins-Flyers Preview

The Boston Bruins figured Jarome Iginla would be in Pennsylvania for a Saturday matinee with his new team. That will be the case for Iginla, but he'll be across the state while the Bruins try to regroup during this visit to face the stumbling Philadelphia Flyers. Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli thought he had a deal in place to acquire Iginla from Calgary, but the Flames...

Bruins Lose Out on Jarome Iginla, Now Look to Other Potential Trade Targets

By Mitch Cole (@DirtyWaterBuzz) Getty Images Wednesday was a whirlwind night in Boston. Just when the Bruins thought they had acquired Flames legend Jarome Iginla in a trade, Calgary called them back and broke the news; Iginla was a Penguin, not a Bruin. It’s one of the strangest situations NHL fans have seen in a very long time. Multiple reports throughout the night indicated...

Boston was under the impression that Iginla was theirs

So who was the most surprised by the Jarome Iginla trade to Pittsburgh? It seems like it was Boston Bruins general manager Peter Chiarelli. During a news conference Thursday afternoon, Chiarelli discussed how Boston’s package deal for the coveted Flames captain was put together and eventually fell apart in the early morning hours. “We made [...]
