After being arrested twice over an 80 day period, Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Cody Grimm told the media today he has learned from his mistakes (Credit: Tampabay.com) Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Cody Grimm has been arrested twice for public intoxication since March 10. During the team’s organized team activities today, Grimm spoke to the media about his two arrests over an 80 day period. Grimm says those two arrests were due to an “error of judgement”. “I have to learn from my mistakes,” Grimm said, via JoeBucsFan.com.  “I can’t change anything in the past.  I have to learn and move forward.  [My future with the Buccaneers] is up to [coach Greg Schiano].  All I can control is what I can do from here on out.  I am not going into details about it.  I’m moving forward.  That’s in the past.  It was an error in judgment, clearly.” It sounds like Grimm is just offering the generic apology for being arrested. However, you have to hope Grimm actually has learned from his mistakes and will grow from these arrests. Whether or not the Buccaneers will cut Grimm is unknown, but for now, as a member of the team, he has to worry about his future and staying out of trouble.
