Well this is rather odd, in that it involves Mavs forward Dirk Nowitzki, German DJ Flula, a couple of members of the Dallas cheerleading squad, and some in-car karaoke. Trust me, you’ve never seen a version of the Rolling Stone’s hit Satisfaction like this one, and you probably never will again…
If this is a regular occurrence in the Dallas-Fort Worth area then sign me up. The only problem I have with this whole thing is the “game” they play to see who would be giving up their seat for Dirk when they stop to pick him up. Like we all didn’t know it would be the black guy, even though he could have easily stayed and one of the cheerleaders could have been kicked out because, other than eye candy (and it was really superb eye candy), they added nothing to the video. At least the black dude provided some much needed swag to the vehicle.
On a side note, listening to DJ Flula sing/rap reminded me so much of Falco (yes I know he’s Austrian, but the accents are similar thank you very much) that it made me all misty eyed. Think I’ll go put Rock Me Amadeus on endless loop until my ears bleed.
