According to Michael Gehlken of the U-T San Diego, linebacker Dwight Freeney “hobbled” off the field and had to have his leg tapped. Dwight Freeney able to finish practice with left leg taped. He looks fine. — Michael Gehlken (@UTgehlken) July 25, 2013 If the Chargers were to lose Freeney to injury, it would weaken an already non-existent pass rush. What would make it worse is the fact that Freeney was signed after the team lost Melvin Ingram for most, if not all, of the season to an injured ACL. Gehlken also tweeted that 2011′s second-round pick Jonas Mouton had to be carted off the field with an unknown injury. This will be something interesting to monitor as camp goes on for the Chargers. Philip Rivers all dried up?

Bolts hope new system does for Rivers what it did for Cards' Warner

For the first time in years San Diego quarterback Philip Rivers must learn a new offensive system with new terminology new calls and new reads and people say that may be good. I don't.
