Summary Preview: The Red River Rivalry has been a tale of back and forth winning streaks since Texas joined the Big12. The Sooners are currently taking a three-game winning streak into the 2013 rendition of the game. The Sooners must press the gas and let their athletes make plays and use the talent edge bring home the game, but if this becomes a game full of turn-overs then anything is possible, especially in a rivalry game. Ultimately, I believe OU’s defense coming off the big win against TCU and the offense focused on running the ball will be too much for the Longhorns. The Sooners come out strong in the first half and really pull away and win by 31 points. Boomer!
Sooner4OU prediction: OU 48-17 Texas.
Important Note: The Sooner and Longhorns will be wearing alternate uniforms with gold accents made specially for the 2013 Red River Rivalry.

You lose, and it's not close.
This is what you expect when you give up big plays on special teams and stop making the simple plays that became so common-place the first five games of the season as Oklahoma won at Notre Dame and snuck up close to the top 10 in the national...
Some would say the Red River Rivalry is the best rivalry in College Football. Few will be making that case this season.
The No. 12 ranked Oklahoma Sooners and an unranked Texas Longhorns team will meet on Saturday. Last year the Sooners wasted no time disposing of the Longhorns and signs point to a similar occurrence this season.

DALLAS-- We hear from Oklahoma quarterback Blake Bell, co-offensive coordinator and quarterbacks coach Josh Heupel and defensive coordinator Mike Stoops outside the locker room following Saturday's 36-20 loss to Texas.
Blake Bell's first start in the Red River Rivalry was a forgetful one for Sooners in 36-20 loss to Texas.
