Found November 08, 2013 on HockeyBuzz:
The Rangers completed their back-to-back contests against Pittsburgh and Columbus with a 4-2 win against the Blue Jackets on Thursday. Overall, I thought New York played a solid game, though was not in love with the strategy employed in the third where it looked like the team went into a shell. With their fifth win in six games, the Rangers finally evened their mark at 8-8, and with seemingly winn...

Columbus Blue Jackets have typo on helmet logo

The Columbus Blue Jackets busted out their third uniforms on Saturday night, but unfortunately for Michael Chaput, there was a serious spelling mistake on his helmet logo.  How sports teams end up with misspellings on their uniforms, I will never know.  Someone better inform Chaput that he plays for “Clumbus” now, wherever that is. Blue Jackets’ Helmet Decal Reads ‘Clumbus,’ Joins Nashville ‘Perds’ in NHL Spelling Blunders (Photo)

Get Pat Sajak on the line because Columbus would like to buy a vowel. Wearing their third uniforms on Saturday night, the Blue Jackets stepped up their alternate game by really committing to the theme, throwing in an alternate spelling to the city that they call home. Although Columbus was spelled correctly on everyone else’s headgear, Michael Chaput‘s equipment didn’t go...

With Another Blue Jackets Loss Comes Questions

from Michael Arace of the Columbus Dispatch, Is Cam Atkinson learning to play like Marian Gaborik? Shudder at the thought. Gaborik makes $7 million, and we haven’t even seen him turn on the jets this season. If one must float, one must score. Is R.J. Umberger happy with one goal a month? Do the Jackets miss injured Matt Calvert this much? Do they miss Keith Acton...

Nathan Horton skates for first time since June, says shoulder looks ‘really good’

Yesterday, the Columbus Blue Jackets got some long awaited good news. The clubs prized $37 million free agent, Nathan Horton, skated for the first time since having major shoulder surgery this past summer. Even better, his last MRI showed he is rehabbing nicely. Horton told the Columbus Dispatch, “The doctors here looked at it and it looks really good.”  “It looks like we’re...

Glen Miller: Lack of Finish Costs Jackets vs. Sens; Rangers Coming to Nationwide

This is beginning to get tiresome, both for their fans and I'm sure for the players of the Columbus Blue Jackets. Tuesday night against a team that was winless in their previous five, the Jackets controlled play for the most part, outshot the Sens 33 - 23 and had several good chances but all for naught as G Robin Lehner shot the door on all but one and the Jackets dropped a 4...

Dan Petriw: Isles Face the firing squad in Columbus

The Islanders will hope to grab some points in Columbus tonight as they square off with the Blue Jackets in a game featuring two teams in need of a win. The Islanders offense needs to get back on track tonight as it stumbled on Thursday in Carolina. Matt Carkner and Eric Boulton return to the lineup as Islanders head coach Jack Capuano feels the need to add some toughness to...

The Bad Metropolitan Division

from Sean McIndoe of Grantland, Let's play a round of 12 questions and see if we can figure it out. - Just how bad is the Metropolitan? Pretty bad. The overall record of the division's eight teams is 49-58-11, for 109 points in 118 games. That's a points percentage of .462, which would average out to 76 points over a full season. To put that in perspective...
