A 27 game winning streak showed that hunger and paved the way to the number one seed, a seeding that paid off as they took their home court in game seven for two post season games. The playoffs were a bit tougher than their easy ride through the regular season; the Pacers taking the Eastern Conference Finals to a game seven showed a vulnerable side of the Heat that we had not yet seen this season. They certainly looked vulnerable against the Spurs, leading to one of the all time greatest Finals between two evenly matched teams.
