Coming off his longest career outing, Tyler Glasnow pitches in Asheville today, trying to improve on his 3-1, 2.70 road record in nine starts. Tyler Glasnow has lost just two games all season (Photo Credit: Tom Bragg) AAA: Indianapolis (61-36) vs Columbus (44-53) 1:35pm Probable starter: Graham Godfrey (6-5, 4.54) Yesterday’s Result: Indianapolis 9, Columbus 6 in 16 innings (game one) Columbus 5, Indianapolis 2 in 11 innings (game two) Graham Godfrey will make his fifth start for Indianapolis today. He has also made four relief appearances. Godfrey pitched for Pawtucket prior to joining the Pirates, going 4-3, 3.83 in four starts and nine relief appearances. He has a 2-2, 5.52 record in 31 innings for Indianapolis. In his last start, Godfrey went 6.2 innings, allowing four runs(two earned) on eight hits and one walk. He has 47 strikeouts, an 0.56 GO/AO ratio and a .269 BAA this season. AA: Altoona (41-51) @ Akron (45-48) 2:05pm Probable starter: David Bromberg (4-8, 3.63) Yesterday’s Result: Akron 10, Altoona 3 David Bromberg will make his 14th start of the season this afternoon. He has also pitched five times in relief. As a starter, he is 3-7, 3.38 in 74.2 innings, with 71 strikeouts and a .247 BAA. In his last start, Bromberg went 6.2 innings, allowing five runs on seven hits and a walk. He did not strike out a single batter. He started on the road against Akron on 6/28, going five innings, with four runs(three earned) on six hits, three walks and six strikeouts. High-A: Bradenton (32-58 overall, 6-16 2nd half) @ Tampa (38-49) 1:00pm  Probable starter:  Joely Rodriguez (0-3, 2.42) Yesterday’s Result: Tampa 10, Bradenton 0 (game one) Tampa 3, Bradenton 2 (game two) Joely Rodriguez will make his 19th start of the season today. He has pitched four times for Bradenton and 14 times for West Virginia. Between the two stops, he has thrown 95 innings, allowing 100 hits, five homers and 26 walks. He has 66 strikeouts, a 2.08 GO/AO ratio and a .275 BAA. In his last start, Rodriguez gave up one run on a solo homer, going seven innings with six hits allowed. Low-A: West Virginia (49-42 overall, 12-9 2nd half) @ Asheville (48-41) 2:05pm Probable starter: Tyler Glasnow (5-2, 2.48) Yesterday’s Result: West Virginia 5, Asheville 1 Tyler Glasnow will make his 18th start of the season today. He has thrown a total of 76.1 innings, allowing 40 hits, seven homers and 43 walks. He has 110 strikeouts, a 0.93 GO/AO ratio and a .153 BAA. In his last start, he threw six shutout innings, giving up three hits, one walk and he struck out seven batters. It was the first time in his pro career that he pitched at least six innings. Glasnow is second in the SAL in strikeouts, trailing CJ Edwards of Hickory by three. He also ranks sixth in the league with a 1.09 WHIP. Short-Season A: Jamestown (16-10) @ Lowell (15-9) 5:05pm Probable Starter: Shane Carle (0-0, 3.60) Yesterday’s Result: Lowell 5, Jamestown 4 Shane Carle will make his third start of the season tonight. He has also pitched three times in relief. In his first start, he went four innings, allowing three runs on seven hits and a walk. In his last start on Tuesday, he gave up one unearned run over five innings, allowing four hits and no walks. He has thrown 15 innings, allowing 16 hits, two homers, one walk and he has  nine strikeouts. Carle has a 2.00 GO/AO ratio and a .262 BAA. Rookie:  GCL Pirates (10-9) vs GCL Astros (10-8) 12:00pm 7/15 Probable Starter:  TBD Yesterday’s Result: Phillies 5, Pirates 1 The GCL Pirates are off today. They will resume play on Monday, playing a two game series against the Astros.
