There is a quarterback battle brewing in Philadelphia, and all the competitors think they can win. Nick Foles praised Michael Vick as a rookie, and talked about learning all he could from him.  This year on the eve of the Eagles 2013 training camp, Foles is singing a different tune, and it has nothing to do with learning from anyone. Vick spoke with Birds 24/7 about the Eagles quarterback job, and made it clear he wasn’t in Philly to be a backup. Nick Foles: "I’m not here to be a backup. I’m here to be the guy." More from @SheilKapadia: http://t.co/N2NWWtdmGf — Tim McManus (@Tim_McManus) July 22, 2013 “I have all the confidence in the world in my ability,” Foles said. “But I still respect the players around me and I know what they’re capable of doing. But at the end of the day, I’m not here to be a backup. I’m here to be the guy. I don’t think we play this game to sit on the bench. We play it to play, and I’m here to play.” All the shots have been fired, and now we just play.

  • He probably will be 'The Guy'....Vick is a turnover machine and their rookie QB Barkley is from USC, known for sending chump losers to the NFL to hold clip boards. The eagles are gonna smell worse than dead fish this year.
