Philadelphia 76ers First Week of the NBA Season
The Philadelphia 76ers have had a rocky start to the season. There was some concern that they would have their issues before Andrew Bynum joined the lineup. Those issues didn’t come about during their first game, a win against the Denver Nuggets, but it certainly came true in back-to-back losses to the New York Knicks.
The Sixers opened up their season at home against the Nuggets...

Cameraman films 76er tripping over him
Jason Richardson of the Philadelphia 76ers had a run in with a cameraman who was filming underneath the basket, and the cameraman won. Check out the below video of the incident, and notice that the cameraman continues doing his job like nothing happened. I am not saying that the cameraman is exactly like the band from Titanic, but pretty cool nonetheless. via The Score Article...

76ers shooting guard Jason Richardson recently suffered a sprained ankle after stepping on a cameraman, which is a blow to a team that is already without star center Andrew Bynum. For some, this may seem like a fairly ordinary injury, and an event that is part of the game. After all, as fans, we all want the best media coverage...

The first quarter was winding down in Monday’s game between New York Knicks and Philadelphia 76ers, when Nick Young made a fantastic save, but then attempt a not-so-fantastic shot. Jrue Holiday has big Game as Sixers Lose to Knicks 100-84
This afternoon, in the second game of the season, the Philadelphia 76ers took on the New York Knicks at Madison Square Garden. This was an early season matchup of two teams that I expect to make the playoffs but the Knicks definitely were quicker and stronger then the Sixers today.
The Sixers only lead came at the beginning of the game leading 2-0. From there, the Knicks took over...
Jason Richardson trips over cameraman's foot, injures himself (Video)
Personally, I feel bad for Philadelphia 76ers guard Jason Richardson who injured his left ankle on Sunday against the New York Knicks.Richardson was cutting to the basket for a lay-up and as he was looking back to see if he made the shot, he tripped over an outstretched foot of a cameraman under the basket:Clearly, the cameramen should be moved back a bit but this play is just bad luck all around.

PHILADELPHIA - Carmelo Anthony collected 21 points Monday night as the New York Knicks routed the Philadelphia 76ers for the second straight day, 110-88. Anthony, who had 27 points in Sunday's 100-84 victory over the Sixers in New York, was one of seven Knicks in double figures. Carmelo Takes Huge Dive Into the Crowd (Video)
If there was any way to make a dive for the ball out of bounds in any more of a dramatic way, Carmelo Anthony sure did it. Early in the game versus the Philadelphia 76ers, Nick Young looked like he got an easy layup in front of him until Anthony was able to block him.
However, the ball looked like it was heading out of bounds, giving the Sixers another chance to score then....
