FLOWERY BRANCH, Ga. On the heels of his first October practice on Wednesday, Atlanta Falcons tailback Steven Jackson sounded as if he would attempt to play Sunday against Arizona. In September, with Jackson nursing a hamstring injury, he wrote on his personal blog that he would not return until he was 100 percent. On Wednesday, he was asked how close he was to 100 percent. "I think I'm feeling, to this point, well enough to give it a go and be out there and be effective like Day 1," Jackson said. Later, asked to clarify as to whether he would play against the Cardinals, Jackson equivocated things a bit. "We'll see," he said. "The game is Sunday. I'm aware of that, the team is aware of that but at the same time Im here to make a difference and were going to see if I can do that." Without Jackson, the Falcons running game has struggled.
