Flickr/mjurn If you’re an Ohio State fan who plans on attending the 2013 home opener against Buffalo, you might want to check both your ticket stub and your closet – you’ll need to make sure you’re wearing the right color. The Buckeyes, for the second straight year, will be attempting to “Scarlet and Gray the ‘Shoe” to create a stripe effect in the stands. It’s pretty self-explanatory – you look up your seat on the school’s website to see what you’re supposed to be wearing. It’s also probably a good way for the school to make sure that fans own multiple Buckeyes shirts. Well played, OSU.

Ohio State jumps aboard the Photoshop recruiting bandwagon

Mike Gesicki, a 6-foot-6-inch, three-star tight end from Manahawkin, New Jersey, was recently informed by Ohio State he was their “missing piece.” Gesicki, through his Instagram account, merely replied to this somewhat creepy tactic with a “haha.” It’s safe to assume that these sort of measures were a lot less risky before people—especially high school kids—put everythingon...
