For months there were rumors swirling about the Oregon State Beavers changing their logo, and it appears the logo that leaked onto the Internet was the correct logo.  The Oregon State Beavers unveiled their rebranding or “rebeav” Monday night, and it will consist of a new logo, new mascot and new uniforms for all of their Varsity sports teams. The logo isn’t great, but it could definitely be worse.  I like the jerseys for both the football team and the basketball team but the issue here is the football helmets are terrible.  The paint on the facemask, the extra thick stripes and then alternating between blank helmet, logo and number on the sides makes it terrible.  There was a lot of potential with these jerseys and they squandered their opportunity.  I’m glad I’m not an Oregon State fan, that’s for sure.  Check out the rest of the uniforms here. Oregon State shows off new logo and uniforms

I remember writing last year that it would be wise for Oregon State to listen to any ideas Nike was willing to offer. Those in charge in Corvallis certainly did not need me to tell them that though. Now, a little more than a year later we have a glimpse of what the result of a lengthy re-branding project has produced. And it’s fantastic. New Oregon State uniform (black). Photo...

Early Monday morning, Beaver Nation learned that running back Malcolm Agnew will transfer to Southern Illinois University.
