It was announced back in December that Texas Tech’s Jones AT&T Stadium would be getting a makeover — the university would be paying for a $5 million facility upgrade that would include the creation of colonnade, the addition over approximately 400 seats, and a new video board. The renovations will be finished before the start of the 2013 season. Today, the Texas Tech football equipment manager tweeted out a picture to show us the new look video board — it’s almost complete: http://t.co/6wuiitSgzp — TexasTechEquipment (@TTU_EQUIPMENT) June 17, 2013 It’s pretty standard stuff, but it should be a nice addition to the stadium. Having a nice new hi-definition video board for replays never hurt anyone.
