Nittany Lions Den:
Much is being made about the potential changes to the Penn State football uniform. Bill O'Brien has mentioned he is discussing the possibility with Nike, who supplies football uniforms and more to Penn State. Of course, the sanctity of the football uniform has been held in high regard for some time, but at some point O'Brien needs to do some things to get recruits excited about Penn State in a new way.
So, with no real details to share on what could change, other than the names, we ask if you want Penn State to add names to the jerseys. Leave your thoughts below.

Several current Penn State Nittany Lions football players gave a brief statement on why they are choosing not to leave the university.
When the NCAA doled out their punishment to Penn State for it’s role in the Jerry Sandusky case, which effectively crippled the school’s football program for the next decade or so, PSU fans and alumni were understandably upset, even if the NCAA’s decision, and subsequent sanctions, were just and fair.
But there’s always got to be that one person whose perspective is so out...
Franco Harris, if nothing else, is persistently loyal. The Hall of Fame running back continues to defend his alma mater, Penn State, even in the wake of the Jerry Sandusky case. The details of that were damning, as were the findings in The Freeh Report, revealing the Penn State cover-up attempts. Former head coach Joe Paterno had his legacy smashed to pieces upon the release of The...
We now see why Penn State coach Bill O’Brien quickly proclaimed his commitment to Penn State in the wake of the announcement of the Penn State sanctions.
According to Joe Schad of ESPN, when O’Brien agreed to take the job at Penn State, his contract had an addendum added to it that called for an automatic 4-year extension if the school was hit with specific sanctions. Those sanctions...
Some Penn State fans are still struggling to cope with the NCAA sanctions. Here’s a video of one Penn State fan who might want to think twice about the language he uses on camera, calling the penalties ’our 9-11.’....
Among the list of sanctions handed down by both the NCAA and the Big Ten there is one item that should perk the interest of James Franklin and his staff. Due in part to the four year bowl ban placed on the school the NCAA has waived the transfer requirement that say any player moving between schools at the same level (FBS in this case) has to sit out a year.
College recruitment can be a frightening kind of animal. There's always been a certain aspect of recruiting that always takes place in the shadows. When some of the darker elements of recruiting are brought to light, scandal often erupts. While it's one thing for schools and coaches and representatives and even agents to be involved, it's quite another for...
Penn State Players Statement- We are StayingAs we know already, its Christmas time this summer in the world of college football. In light of the NCAA sanctions on Penn State, 123 FBS programs are going on a shopping spree this week trying to pluck the best talent in State College away to their respective campuses. While no official Nittany Lion has transferred…yet, the core...
I don’t think I’ve written anything formal on the whole Penn State saga since it unfolded late last year outside of Twitter, so here it goes. In undoubtedly the creepiest story to ever coincide with sports throughout history, we have seen a school’s entire image completely tarnished. We have seen former players and colleagues make asinine comments only to come back and bite...

Should Silas Redd stay or go? It is a tough question for Penn State's top running back. Getty Images.
The NCAA is allowing Penn State players a free transfer without having to sit out a season. The severity of the situation at Penn State may have drawn some criticism and debate over the penalties handed to Penn State but one thing that nobody has a real problem with is...
During a period where Penn State was expected to lose players, the Nittany Lions added a prospect to their 2012 class with an Arizona linebacker.
A person with knowledge of the situation says the Penn State
board of trustees will meet Wednesday afternoon to discuss whether
President Rodney Erickson had the authority to agree to
unprecedented NCAA sanctions against the football program without
first getting the board's approval.
Can we please put to rest the asinine argument that the NCAA somehow over stepped its authority to levy sanctions against Penn State for PSU’s actions during Sandusky’s period of committing child abuse and for their role in covering that up?
We have read time and again in the past five days from people who don’t agree with what happened that Mark Emmert and the NCAA boards...
