Dwight Howard has yet to play a game for the Rockets, but the new Houston center is fitting right in to his new Texas lifestyle after attending a high school football game on Thursday night. In a Houston-area high school student's Hail Mary attempt of a tweet, he invited Howard to attend George Ranch High School's white out game against Foster High School in the Houston suburb of Rosenburg. @21bcross wheres that at. I might show up Dwight Howard (@DwightHoward) September 26, 2013 Howard not only answered the student's request on Twitter, he even took the young fan up on his offer and showed up at the game with new teammate Chandler Parson, both of whom wore all white in support of the team. High school football?? Chandler Parsons (@ChandlerParsons) September 26, 2013 Judging by the videos and tweets posted by the two Rockets stars, they even had a good time doing what every Texan does best on Thursday and Friday fall nights--cheering on the local high school football team. "This is impressive," Parson told the Houston Chronicle. "It's not like where we're from. The crowds are crazy, the kids are into it, so it's a lot of fun." As if having two NBA stars rooting for your team in the stands wasn't enough, George Ranch took home a big 45-21 victory over Foster to top off the memorable night. @ChandlerParsons hey I really appreciate you coming to support GRHS last night with @DwightHoward and to let y'all know we won 44-21 Cross (@21bcross) September 27, 2013
