In our piece about Jamaal Charles we discussed how the arrival of Andy Reid would benefit him as a receiver and a fantasy producer in general, so in recognizing it is a bit of a 180 to talk about how Reid’s departure will have a positive impact on LeSean McCoy, we’re going to do it anyway. Stay with me. Make no mistake, the Reid years were good to McCoy. In 2010, he finished as fantasy’s 8th best back. In 2011, he was the second; his 20 touchdowns and 1624 scrimmage yards in 2011 were totals that any fantasy owner would be thrilled with. However, he didn’t see a ton of opportunities running the football in Reid’s pass heavy offense. Despite working as the unquestioned lead back in recent years he hasn’t come anywhere near a 300 carry season. Chip Kelly brings an entirely different approach with him from Oregon...

Curtis Marsh, Eagles Secondary, Struggles Against Pats Offense

We expected some hiccups along the way, and it’s probably not fair to judge the Philadelphia Eagles secondary after just a few practice games. But we were expecting, as I said, some hiccups. Not a flat out dry heave. However one player, Brandon Boykin, the Eagles fourth-round draft pick [...]The post Curtis Marsh, Eagles Secondary, Struggles Against Pats Offense appeared first...

Chip Kelly plans to give Vick, Foles alternating series

First year Philadelphia Eagles head coach Chip Kelly may need to step away from the college mentality a little. Kelly has refused to name a starting quarterback throughout training camp. Michael Vick will start for the Philadelphia Eagles in their preseason opener against New England on Friday night because coach Chip Kelly says it's his turn to go first in the quarterback rotation. Eagles' Dennis Kelly out for preseason after back surgery

The Philadelphia Eagles struggled through multiple injuries to their offensive line last season, causing their offense in general to register a disappointing campaign. Unfortunately for Philly, the 2013 season is off to an eerily similar start. Left tackle Jason Peters will miss tonight’s preseason opener with a hamstring ailment, and right tackle Dennis Kelly will be out for the...

Less Time In Front Of Mics, Please Today at Eagles training camp, the guy that your national media told you was never going to play again for the team due to a racist episode, well, came back and played for the team. Now, I'm not going to make the ridiculous mistake of claiming this is a great day for the franchise. The people who will be really happy about this are not people...

The Riley Cooper Effect: How Words Impact Everyone

It has been evident in society for quite sometime; it is often covered up and even talked about behind closed doors.  The fact that racism still exists, even in the sports world. Eagles quarterback Michael Vick will start the 2013 exhibition opener, according to Sal Paolantonio.Fantasy Spin:It still doesn't mean that Vick will end up starting for the Eagles in 2013, but it appears he's a better fit for the Chip Kelly offense and ahead of Nick Foles and Matt Barkley at this time.
