If you have not noticed yet, Aaron Hernandez appears to be guilty as sin of the first degree murder charge in the death of Odin Lloyd.  The victim’s text messages, Hernandez’s smashed cell phone and home security system, his desire to get married so his fiancee could refuse to testify against him under Massachusetts law and all of the previous ghosts barreling out of the closet suggest that Hernandez could not be more guilty.  If he isn’t a murderer, he’s coming off like a giant scumbag. And while my law degree should have ingrained the “innocent until proven guilty” legalize, it hasn’t in this case.  However, rapper Snoop Dogg’s “Player Hater’s Degree” has guided him to not assume that Hernandez is guilty.  In fact, it has him supporting the former Patriots tight end. Snoop Dogg recently posted a photo of himself with Hernandez to Instagram with the caption “Keep ya head up. We prayn 4 ya.” My early 90′s rap knowledge tells me that Snoop is or used to be a member of the Crips gang.  Hernandez sports a tattoo celebrating the Crips rival, the Bloods.  Prison personnel have since ruled that Hernandez has no gang affiliation, but that’s some darn cool gang sign that he’s throwing up in the picture that Snoop posted (below). If Hernandez is indeed a Snoop fan, I can bet you he’s singing “murder was the case that they gave me.” Instagram [Free Press]
