New York Giants wide receiver Mario Manningham can’t wait for Super Bowl XLVI against the New England Patriots next Sunday in Indianapolis. Manningham is obviously confident that his Giants can once again knock off the favored Patriots, but he says he is really looking forward to playing against one player, in particular. Manningham says he would love to line up against Julian Edelman, who, though naturally a wide receiver or kick returner, has seen a decent amount of time in the defensive backfield for New England this season due to injuries and inefficient and inconsistent play. With the Giants possessing one of the most explosive trio of wideouts in the game today, the Patriots expect to have a difficult time keeping Manningham, Hakeem Nicks and Victor Cruz all in check. Especially considering that their pass defense was one of the worst in the NFL over the past season. Stopping Eli Manning from connecting on big plays does not expect to be an easy task for New Engla...

Eli Manning vs. Peyton Manning

Ironic, as Super Bowl XLVI Indianapolis becomes the center of the universe this week, the only Manning not in the news is Cooper.  Eli has led the New York Football Giants to their 2nd Super Bowl in five years, and this one happens to be in Peyton's house, Lucas Oil Stadium.  Peyton Manning has been the best quarterback not named Brady over the last decade.  The Colts...

Patriots like QB Tom Brady can’t believe how tough Giants QB Eli Manning is… and mega-links!

Giants QB Eli Manning was sacked 28 times this year, the second most in his career. He was hit countless more times. Yet he keeps getting up and keep firing. This is one underrated aspect of Manning. But it wasn’t lost on Tom Brady. He couldn’t stop gushing about Manning’s toughness. “He does everything you’re looking for as a quarterback,” Brady said. “I’ve seen...

NY Giants Will Be Biggest Test Of Patriots Suspect D

Well, New England Patriot haters, you may get your wish. Eli Manning and the New York Giant offense will be the biggest test the Disciples Of The Hoodie have faced all year. This is not the Denver Broncos or the decidedly one dimensional Baltimore Ravens the Pats will be playing next Sunday. This is a balanced offensive attack, with great receivers in Victor Cruz and Hakeem Nicks...

Does QB's legacy rely just on the Super Bowl?

This Super Bowl could create one of two storylines for the future of quarterback debates. If the Patriots win, Tom Brady will be vaulted to the forefront of the "greatest quarterback of all time" list. If the Giants win, Eli Manning will start a discussion of if he is better than his brother, Peyton, and if he is one of the elite quarterbacks of his era. However, are...

Giants draw line on Eli getting hit

INDIANAPOLIS — The first thing Chris Snee did when the NFC Championship Game ended last week was seek out Eli Manning and make sure he was still in one piece. Only then did the offensive lineman feel like celebrating Big Blue’s trip to the Super Bowl.
