PLAYERS: Victor Cruz
TEAMS: New York Giants
After tonight’s not guilty verdict was read in the George Zimmerman/ Trayvon Martin case many athletes went on Twitter to express their disappointment.  Giants wide receiver Victor Cruz was one of them and he tweeted something a little over the top.   While what Cruz posted wasn’t horrible and is probably true.  Zimmerman will need to move away and hide somewhere.  But someone as famous as Cruz can’t tweet this.  It doesn’t put him in the most positive light.  He could have also said it in a different way.   Need NFL Tickets? Did the Giants do enough at linebacker in the offseason?

The Giants in the offseason feel they upgraded at defensive tackle, but at the linebacker position, the second line of defense continues to be a weakness against passing offenses that attack the middle of the field.
