As the second quarter wound down leading into halftime of the Clippers Nuggets game on Saturday night, Blake Griffin hit a lay-up with only 1.9 seconds remaining. You had to assume that the Nuggets might get a desperation heave and that would be that.
However, the inbounds pass was tipped, allowing Clips backup point guard Darren Collison to throw up a prayer:
You know, Collison just knocked down your everyday running, off-balance, one-handed half-heave at the buzzer—nothing special.

As previously noted on That NBA Lottery Pick, we are huge fans of buzzer beaters and during tonight’s Clippers/Nuggets game, Los Angeles guard Darren Collison made an impressive one.
With less than three seconds to play, Collison stole a Denver inbounds pass and threw up an off-balance shot that someone found the bottom of the net:
