Found June 18, 2014 on College Spun:
From now until the end of time–or until the electricity bill gets too high–those wandering about State College, Pa. will be able to look up into the sky at night and find Beaver Stadium by the fluorescent glow of a massive Nittany Lion logo.  Penn State has installed two huge glow-in-the-dark logos atop its football stadium. Tuesday night, the light-up signs were turned on for the first time.  The light-up signs are part of a $10 million renovation project for Beaver Stadium that includes full-screen, high-definition video panels, a new sound system, closed-captioning boards below the scoreboard, and the back-lit logo.
