Division III College Baseball just took “attacking the base path” to a whole new level.  On the mound is Berry College’s Levi Austin, who at the :35 mark threw a pitch that was down and inside on a batter from Hendrix College of Conway.  The ball bounced away from the catcher which gave Hendrix’s Colin Radack the opportunity to take off from 3rd base and try to score. As Lee Corso would say, “not so fast my friend.” Austin came charging off the mound and instead of heading towards the plate, he went up the 3rd base line and leveled Radack with a shoulder block that caused the benches to clear.  Berry College went on to win 9-7. Somewhere Roger Clemens is smiling. Source: [OffTheBench] The post College Pitcher Tackles Baserunner Trying To Steal Home appeared first on Ride The Pine.
