Any knowledgeable baseball fan has seen the 1989 flick Major League. You know, the one with Rick "Wild Thing" Vaughn (played by Charlie Sheen). It's a classic.

Well, there is a scene from that movie which depicts the Cleveland Indians wearing tuxedos for an American Express commercial.

Last week, the Sul Ross State University baseball squad recreated the scene, except they promoted their student ID cards, instead.

The D-III team nailed the spot. The only thing missing was the tuxedos.

Sapp: Bucs' performance 'an embarrassment to a very proud organization'

Warren Sapp was among those disappointed — and likely disgusted — with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers’ performance on Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers. The Bucs lost 31-13 at home to the Panthers and looked terrible all night. They barely did anything offensively, and they struggled to stop the Carolina offense. They even went for […]

For example, one WVU student decided to flip a car to display his joy for the gridiron triumph, but it didn't come without consequence...

Shawne Merriman in training to become a WWE wrestler

Roman Reigns? (via Getty Image) Shawne Merriman, aka Lights Out, aka Gigantosaur, hasn’t been in the NFL since 2012. “What’s he been doing with his time?” you may ask. “Choking out Tila Tequila? Feuding with people over Wal-Mart t-shirts? Maybe trying his hand at foxy boxing?” You weren’t far off with the last one. Yesterday was Shawne Merriman’s first day at...
