As the Missouri Tigers prepare to take on the No. 5 ranked Florida Gators on Tuesday night, head basketball coach Frank Haith might need to post speed limit signs from the Mizzou bench for junior point guard Phil Pressey to take notice each possession. It might caution the energetic point guard and cause him to calm down a little and allow the game to come to him.
There is a valuable lesson to be learned from several of Mizzou's recent SEC losses; Pressey must not try and take over the game by himself. He must limit the unnecessary dribbling and quickly hoisted jump shots.
With more emphasis on doing what Pressey does best, which is accomplished when he is being the crafty playmaker he is by creating easy buckets for his teammates, Mizzou is drastically a better team.
