Thursday night, Indiana University men’s basketball coach Tom Crean spent the evening talking to the student body about everything from the importance of helping others to the future of the Hoosiers’ basketball program. Tickets for the student body were free, and I had the chance to listen to Crean in the IU Auditorium and then meet him afterwards. With Indiana head coach Tom Crean Here are some of the highlights of his talk: Freshman Starter? “Don’t write this in Sharpie, but maybe an ink pen, but a freshman will probably start for us this season,” Crean said. Point guard Yogi Ferrell is the most likely freshman to start for Indiana. Senior guard Jordan Hulls is a great three-point shooter, hitting 49.3% of his shots from behind the arc last season, and could play predominantly as a two guard in the 2012-13 season. If Ferrell starts, the other four starting sports would be filled by a combination of Hulls, Victor Oladipo, Will Sheehey, Christian Watford, and Cody Zeller. Anticipat...
