After Boston College dropped to 0-2, I asked if it was time to panic. I was told BC still had plenty of chances to make up for the 0-2 start.  After Thursday's loss to Toledo, the Eagles sit at 0-3 and it's time to ask the question again.  Time for panic? Boston College's problem on Thursday once again was their defense.  Toledo managed to score 1.4 points per possession (an offensive efficiency of 142), which is ridiculously bad.  The Eagles defensive efficiency on the season is now 121.  Maybe we shouldn't be surprised though since the Eagles were last in the league last season with a defensive efficiency of 108.  It goes to show you that teams that aren't able to defend are vulnerable this season with the focus on calling games closer. Miami managed to pickup a win on Thursday, defeating Texas Southern 84-69.  Rion Brown just missed a triple-double finishing with 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 9 assists. On the gridiron, Clemson defeated Georgia Tech 55-31. Four games on the ACC schedule tonight, with Duke, Georgia Tech, Virginia Tech, and Wake Forest in action.  Check out the links, previews, and more below.  Team Conf Pct Overall Pct  Clemson  0-0  1.000  2-0  1.000  FSU  0-0  1.000  2-0  1.000  Georgia Tech  0-0  1.000  2-0  1.000  Notre Dame  0-0  1.000  2-0  1.000  Pittsburgh  0-0  1.000  2-0  1.000  Syracuse  0-0  1.000  2-0  1.000  Wake Forest  0-0  1.000  2-0  1.000  UNC  0-0  1.000  1-0  1.000  Miami  0-0  1.000  2-1  0.667  NC State  0-0  1.000  1-1  0.500  Maryland  0-0  1.000  1-1  0.500  Duke  0-0  1.000  1-1  0.500  Virginia  0-0  1.000  1-1  0.500  Virginia Tech  0-0  1.000  1-1  0.500  Boston College  0-0  1.000  0-3  0.000  Injury Report  Patrick Rooks (CL) injured hip, out for season Chris Bolden (GT) suspended first 3 games forsummer DUI Jason Morris (GT) stress fracture in foot, back in late Nov Seth Allen (MD) 10/30 - broken foot, out 8-10 weeks Deandre Burnett (MI) injured wrist, out for season Jordan Vandenberg (ST) 11/2 - injured ankle, out 4-6 weeks CJ Barksdale (VT) suspended 3 games for violation of team rules Links ODU beats Howard to give new coach his first win | | Podcast: Let's talk about Friday's huge recruiting day in hoops - Jacobs: Duke’s rise a challenge for ACC football | Duke | P.J.
