The big story on Saturday the ACC was NC State's win over Duke. The Wolfpack win a game that most felt they should win, especially considering Duke was playing without Ryan Kelly. Read more about the loss for the Blue Devils.
UNC picked up a nice win at FSU behind PJ Hairston's best game as a Tar Heel. Hairston finished with 24 points and attacked the rim more than I've seen him do it. Check out the recap of UNC's win here.
To say the ACC is unpredictable is an understatement. ACC fantasy basketball players on this site have a chance to predict games and among people that have picked every game, my personal record of 11-6 tops the standings. It just goes to show how things have gone so far in the ACC. It also prompts the question, is the ACC a deeper league this season or is it just a down season? Let me know your thoughts in the comments.
One game in the ACC tonight, Maryland goes to Miami to play tonight at 8. Check out the game sim prediction below and the preview at the bottom of the post.

P.J. Hairston scored a career-high 23 points and North Carolina defeated defending Atlantic Coast Conference champion Florida State 77-72 Saturday, almost a year to day after suffering a 33-point loss against the Seminoles.
Hairston made 9 of 14 shots, including four of nine from beyond the arc for North Carolina, which shot 48.3 percent overall and 40 percent from 3-point range...
A day removed from Duke’s first loss of the season most Blue Devils fans sat down to watch football or perhaps the big basketball game of the day between Ohio State and Michigan not expecting to hear bad news.
Duke’s Ryan Kelly is said to be of action for 2-4 weeks but according to CBS’s Seth Davis it could be much longer than that.
Other than the highlights that would...

So where does Duke go from here?
The top-ranked team in the land a week ago, the Blue Devils now find themselves looking up in the ACC standings and without one of their best players, Ryan Kelly, for the foreseeable future.
And while the Devils gave a warrior-like effort in Saturdays 84-76 loss at NC State, the absence of Kelly was obvious, especially late in the game when Duke...
Unpredictability was the theme of last week for ACC basketball along with a changing of the guard.
Virginia Tech wasnt supposed to win again this season, many of its panicking fans feared, but grabbed a big road win over the weekend. Wake Forest won twice, North Carolina showed it still has life in leaving Tallahassee, Fla., with a hard-fought victory, Miami keeps rolling and N...
Duke is off to an impressive start, but has done so without playing a true road game.
To improve to 16-0 for the first time in seven seasons, the Blue Devils not only need a road win - they'll need one with their third-leading scorer sidelined.
The nation's No. 1 team will be without Ryan Kelly on Saturday when it visits No. 20 North Carolina State.
Kelly is out indefinitely...
It was a much hyped game and it lived up to the hype, but in the end it proved to be a big win for the No. 20 NC State Wolf Pack and the first loss for the soon to be former No. 1 Duke Blue Devils.
Richard Howell and NC State handed Duke their first loss of the season.
Despite the loss of Ryan Kelly, which was one of the central story lines in this game, Duke was in a position...
UNC got a career day from P.J. Hairston with 24 points and some surprisingly solid minutes from Jackson Simmons to overcome six 2nd half three pointers from FSU and avoid an 0-3 start. It wasn't always pretty but it was tough, hard fought effort from the Heels who owned backboards to the tune of 41-19 and registered a ridiculous 59% offensive rebounding rate. Couple that with...
