Here's a quick recap of day one of the ACC Tournament with some of my favorite moments. Olivier Childress, I mean, Hanlan going for 41 points. Calling Georgia Tech's collapse (who couldn't see that one coming?) Anything Eddie Odio does.  I'm betting we'll see an Odio/Kadji meeting at the rim today and I fully expect Odio to lose. Did I mention Hanlan and his complete domination of Georgia Tech?  NC State methodically taking apart Virginia Tech. NC State fans hyperventilating through the first 20 minutes or so.  Speaking of which, go check out some incredibly funny and creative NC State recaps here. Wake Forest stayed close and the Greensboro crowd was definitely behind the one team playing in this that will remain in the ACC. Maryland was the stronger, more experienced team and Pe'Shon Howard finally played well (for the first time all year?) and the Terps get Duke as their reward. Clemson/FSU ending was about as good as it got in the final game.  FSU's near Richmond/Charlotte-like collapse was almost noteworthy. Anything KJ McDaniels does is worth mentioning. Make sure to check out game sim predictions, previews, links and more below to get you ready for day 2 of the ACC Tournament.  Also, check out the ACC Tournament Bracket Contest standings updated after day one.
