Universal Takeover Sports Network:
The Kansas verses Duke game was a great game to watch. The two top prospects in the nation were on the court and they put on a show! It wasn’t just Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker making things happen as both teams had other players step up and make plays. Kansas got the 94-83 win but it was not easy. Both teams fought to the end and it was clear that neither of these teams wanted to go home without a win tonight.
The first half was the Jabari Parker show. He finished with 19 points 5 rebounds and 3 steals. He showed the full package, he drove to the basket, shot the three ball and played great defense. It was interesting to see him at the 4 and 5 positions using his length under the basket. Andrew Wiggins showed flashes but foul trouble limited his playing time as he only played 9 first half minutes. He scored 6 points and had 3 rebounds. The score was 42-40 Duke at the half as both teams fought hard to gain a substantial lead.
In the second half, we saw Wiggins assert himself and showed the nation what he can do. From the start of the half, he was active all over the floor. He scored somewhat easily and began to work the post. He made a few plays that displayed his strength. He scored 16 points and had 4 rebound in the second half. Wiggins made a clutch jump shot and got a crucial and one that fouled Jabari Parker with about a minute left.
Kansas wound up with the 94-83 win. The score doesn’t let you know how close this game actually was. Wiggins finished with 22 points and 10 rebounds. Jabari Parker finished with 27 points and 9 rebounds. I have to give a notable mention to Perry Ellis, a Kansas forward that finished with 24 points and 7 rebounds. Another honorable mention goes to Wayne Seldon; a Kansas guard who score 15 points had 8 rebounds and 4 assists. Amile Jefferson showed up for Duke with 17 points and 2 boards. Overall, it was a great game to watch and it definitely lived up to the hype. If tonight is indicative on what we will see the rest of the year this is going to be a very exciting college basketball season.

It was tough to follow a game as riveting as Michigan State’s win against Kentucky, but No. 5 Kansas’ upset of No. 4 Duke certainly competed. The game was neck-and-neck until Kansas used a 9-2 run in the final 1:33 to win, 94-83.

Julius Randle had already posted 27 points and 13 rebounds against a team that'll be ranked No. 1 in next week's Associated Press poll by the time Andrew Wiggins and Jabari Parker took the floor. So the so-called bar was set ridiculously high, and even the strongest of believers had to wonder whether they'd touch it.
Then the second game of the Champions Classic tipped...

We're just a few days into the college basketball season, but make no mistake, Tuesday felt like March.
