Sophomore forward, Angel Nunez, has decided to transfer from Louisville following this semester.  The reasoning behind him leaving is “Limited prospects for playing time.”  Pitino and the Louisville coaching staff have came out and supported Nunez’s decision. Nunez was injured earlier this season with a major concussion and hasnt been able to play at all.  Nunez averaged 4.6 minutes per game and 2.0 points per game as a freshman.  He only appeared in 12 games last year. Nunez was a relitively highly touted prospect coming out of high school.  He had offers from schools like Cincinnati, Uconn, Indiana, and West Virginia.  He was compared to Francisco Garcia when he initally signed with Louisville. We all wish the best to Angel Nunez and hope he is able to play wherever he transfers to.  If he gets healthy, he could really make an impact for a team.  Who knows, maybe he will join Louisville transfer, Jared Swopshire at Northwestern.
