North Carolina sophomore Reggie Bullock's return from a knee injury could prove critical after the loss of Leslie McDonald to his own offseason knee injury.
The 6-foot-7 Bullock tore the lateral meniscus in his left knee late in the season and sat out the final nine games. He was averaging six points, but the rookie regarded for his outside shooting was making just 30 percent of his 3-point tries as he played through pain much of the year.
During the Tar Heels' preseason media day Thursday, Bullock said he's healthy now and ready to play a bigger role. His return is especially key after the Tar Heels lost top outside shooter McDonald to an offseason knee injury.
