Coming off a season-opening 77-44 victory over Presbyterian, the Clemson men's basketball team will turn its attention to another in-state opponent Friday night when the Tigers visit Furman's Timmons Arena for a 7 p.m. tipoff.
It will be Clemson's first appearance ever on the Paladins' home floor, which seats 3,000. The teams last played in Greenville in 1999 at the Bi-Lo Center.
Furman is 1-1 this season after losing its opener to Columbia, and then bouncing back for a victory over Southern Wesleyan.

CLEMSON - Clemson men’s basketball coach Brad Brownell announced Thursday that prized four-star rated freshman Jaron Blossomgame will redshirt.
The 6-7 swingman suffered a severe broken leg in April. He has made significant strides in his comeback and has begun participating in limited basketball activities.
Blossomgame averaged 25.8 points per game on the 17-and-under Georgia Stars AAU squad last summer.
“He made a good jump in progress in late September, so we had held out hope he’d be ready ahead of schedule,” Brownell said. “He’s still improving consistently, but there has not been a significant enough jump within the last two weeks to let me know that he would be ready.
