Oklahoma State star guard Marcus Smart has a reputation of being a notorious flopper, and has had an issue with opposing fans getting under his skin.
He responded to criticism of flopping after a triple overtime home loss to Iowa State in early February. Just a few weeks later, Smart shoved a Texas Tech fan that cost him a three-game suspension.
Iowa State students were prepared to frustrate Smart even more when the Cowboys visited Ames, Iowa on Saturday.
During player introductions prior to tipoff, the Cyclones student section all flopped in unison when Smart's name was called.
That wasn't all.
They also all flopped when Smart was at the free throw line.
Iowa State rallied from a 16-point deficit to beat Oklahoma State 85-81 in overtime.

Marcus Smart became just the 13th player in Oklahoma State basketball history to earn two-time first-team all-conference recognition when the Cowboys sophomore was named to the All-Big 12 team on Sunday. Also, OSU senior Markel Brown, junior Le'Bryan Nash and sophomore Phil Forte received all-Big 12 honors.
Earlier today, we saw a major West Virginia student section fail. Thankfully, the kids over at Iowa State have made up for it.

Oklahoma State were leading by 16 points in the second half. Phil Forte, the Big 12’s best free-throw shooter, was at the foul line with five seconds remaining in regulation with a chance to sew up a win. But with Marcus Smart sitting on the bench after fouling out, OSU allowed Iowa State to rally for an 85-81 overtime victory in the regular season finale at Hilton Coliseum in Ames, Iowa.
