After completing the 2022-23 basketball season, Georgia guard Kario Oquendo has announced via his Instagram that he will be taking his talents to the NBA Draft, while also putting his name into the transfer portal.

Oquendo was a member of the Bulldogs team for the previous two seasons and was a major factor in Georgia's success under their new head coach Mike White. The Bulldogs finished with a 16-16 record, which was a massive improvement for a team that won just six total games the year prior.

Oquendo finished the 2022-23 season as the Bulldog's second-highest scorer behind fellow guard Terry Roberts, who also declared for the draft earlier this week. His best game of the season came in the form of a 22-point performance against the Chattanooga Mocs. He would reach 20 points in two other games during the regular season.

With the Bulldog's top two leading scorers no longer with the team. Georgia will have to rely on the remainder of its roster, as well as new recruits to carry the offense in the upcoming season.
