Kentucky has long been known as a basketball school – the Wildcats hoops program, under head coach John Calipari, is always a threat to compete for the national championship. But UK is doing its best to beef up its football program too. A year ago, the school hired Mark Stoops away from Florida State with the intent of building a program that can compete in the uber-competitive SEC. The hire hasn’t translated to much on-field success thus far, but there is no doubt that Stoops is doing an incredible job on the recruiting trail.
With the future bright in Lexington, the school is trying to communicate to its fans that the Wildcats plan to change the game and bring about a new era of Wildcats football. As such, Sunday night, they released an impressive hype video ahead of the 2014 campaign. UK fans should enjoy it greatly.
