By JEFF MEZYDLO A starting lineup filled with underclassmen has not prevented Kentucky from reaching the top of the AP poll. Playing with the No. 1 ranking for the first time since the 2009-10 season, the Wildcats face St. John's as part of the Big EastSEC Challenge at Rupp Arena on Thursday night. Paced by a starting five made up of three freshmen and two sophomores, Kentucky (6-0) has scored 84.4 points a contest and won its games by an average of 30.0. The Wildcats moved up one spot to the top ranking after blowing out Radford and Portland last week, jumping past previous No. 1 North Carolina thanks to the Tar Heels' loss to UNLV. The Wildcats, who face fifth-ranked North Carolina on Saturday at Rupp Arena, are in their 90th week at No. 1 - fourth all-time behind UCLA (134), Duke (122) and North Carolina (108).
