The young Fighting Illini basketball team got a big boost when senior point guard Sam Maniscalco transferred in for a graduate program. However, it is taking more time than hoped for him to return to complete health after two ankle surgeries. He will provide help with leadership and on-court skills if he can stay healthy all season.
