Marcus Jordan, the son of Michael Jordan, reportedly has decided not to play his senior season for Central Florida. There was speculation that Jordan would not play at the school for his senior season after he did not participate in summer workouts with his teammates. The Orlando Sentinel points out that Jordan may have been leaning toward not playing after losing two friends from the team. Jordan’s older brother, Jeff, left the team in January, and best friend A.J. Rompza finished his career. UCF was also hit with a postseason ban last month that may have contributed to Jordan’s decision. CBS Sports’ Jeff Goodman reported the news and says Jordan is still scheduled to take classes at the school despite not being interested in playing ball for UCF.
