Score: No. 8 Michigan State 59, Iowa 56 Star(s): Michigan State: Adreian Payne: 18 Pts, 10 Reb. Iowa: Mike Gesell: 9 Pts, 3 Reb. Story: The Big Ten quarterfinals were underway in Chicago, as Michigan State took on Iowa in a very competitive and hard fought game.  With Iowa leading 30-20 at the half, Michigan State found its spark and went on a 22-2 run, eventually takin an eight point lead with just under two minutes to play. Two turnovers from the Spartans led to Iowa being able to get within one point, but a pair of free-throws made by Gary Harris and a last minute missed shot by Roy Devyn Marble sealed the deal for MSU. The energy of Gary Harris after a quiet first half and the leadership of Keith Appling were key components in the 59-56 victory over Iowa. Also not sure how #Iowa finds a way to choke that lead away. 17-2 run by MSU with a few minutes to go? C’mon. Welcome to the #NIT, Iowa. — Josh Meredith (@TheJoshMeredith) March 16, 2013 Great comeback win for MSU against Io...
