The Missouri Tigers basketball team sorely missed talented and explosive guard Michael Dixon Jr. last season. Frank Haith’s Mizzou team was left with just one ball-handler, Phil Pressey, to carry the load after Dixon left the team after being accused of sexual assault for the second time during his stay in Columbia. Now, Dixon will play for another team called the Tigers. According to and several others, Dixon will transfer to Memphis this season and play for Josh Pastner’s Memphis Tigers this fall. Dixon chose Memphis over Baylor, among other schools. Dixon averaged 13.5 points per game during his Junior season at Mizzou.
