In emails, which was sent to the Miami Herald, former University of Miami booster Nevin Shapiro, who's in a New Orleans prison serving 20 years for a Ponzi scheme, has threaten to release MORE SHOCKING
revelations about misconduct that went on at the university.
It's being said, by Shapiro, that these new revelations could destroy the Miami Hurricanes football program, as the NCAA could give the football program the "death penalty".
NCAA proved that some of the claims Shapiro made against the university of cash dealings were untrue including any wrongdoing surrounding current basketball player DeQuan Jones.
Other claims made by Shapiro, however, were shown to be true, as Miami gave incriminating interviews with investigators. Others have abstained, according to the Miami Herald. Also, the NCAA hasn't contacted many former players named in the original Yahoo Sports report, which exposed the scandal at Miami, something that isn't required by investigators.
FBI agent Michael Ward, who's in charge of the Newark's FBI division, believes that the allegations being made against the players and university won't rise to the level of a federal crime.
