Five thoughts heading into the biggest college basketball game of the early season -- Duke at Ohio State: 1. I cant wait to watch the backcourt matchups of Ohio States Aaron Craft and William Buford vs. Dukes Seth Curry and Austin Rivers. Craft is perhaps the best backcourt defender in college basketball, and as thehoopsreport.com wrote, Craft's lateral quickness makes it tough for his opponents to get into their offensive sets, which is exactly what Duke prides itself on doing. 2. Obviously, the battle between OSUs Jared Sullinger and Dukes big men is expected to be the key to the game. And you can expect Sullinger to see a lot of double teams from the Plumlee brothers (Mason and Miles), as well as Blue Devils power forward Ryan Kelly -- who has been superb. In my opinion, tonight is Sullingers biggest test as a collegian. 3. Ohio State forward Deshaun Thomas probably shoots too much, but I like him anyway. If hes hitting those shots, the Devils are gonna have a had time kee...

Crazy Self Pass By Ohio State’s Aaron Craft (Video)

So Duke got battered pretty bad last night by Ohio State 85-63. The win should cement the Buckeyes as a solid National Title contender.  A number 2 beating a number 4 seed by 22 points is pretty impressive. This is one of the more impressive plays of the night though.  Ohio State’s Aaron Craft threw a pass between Miles Plumlee's legs, but the pass didn't go quite where...

Ohio State’s Aaron Craft somehow passes to himself for a layup

Here's a sign Ohio State had everything working in its favor during Tuesday night's 85-63 victory over Duke: Aaron Craft managed to even throw an assist to himself. With Ohio State comfortably ahead by 17 midway through the second half, Craft corralled a loose ball at mid-court, attacked the rim off the dribble and attempted to feed teammate Jared Sullinger with a bounce...

What I Expect from Duke – Ohio State Tonight

I expect the guards from Ohio State to put pressure on the Duke guards, and keep them off of the three point arc. Duke will have to take care of the ball and expect sophomore guard Aaron Craft to be in waiting if they do not, Craft averages 3.5 steals per game. Austin Rivers especially will have to be aware and keep the turnovers to a minimum, valuing the ball should be his mantra...

Seth Davis: Ohio State massacres No. 3 Duke

Ohio State had little trouble with Duke in the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, smashing the Devils 85-63. Aaron Craft, Austin Rivers and Deshaun Thomas all earned high praise from Seth Davis.
