Florida shooting guard Bradley Beal isn't just on the radar of several contenders, he's at the top of their list.

Beal, considered the top shooter in the draft, revealed Wednesday in a TV interview with ESPN that he's had several conversations with the Oklahoma City Thunder. General manager Sam Presti told Beal the Western Conference champions were interested in trading up in the draft to acquire Beal.

And according to the player, the Thunder won't be alone.

The Denver Nuggets, San Antonio Spurs and Atlanta Hawks have been active in covering all of their bases with regular calls to Florida coach Billy Donovan.

Presti spent time in Gainesville during the lockout and had a face-to-face interview with Beal in Chicago at the pre-draft Combine.

The Thunder would have to peddle a significant veteran to assure landing Beal. He's could go as early as the No. 2 pick -- the Charlotte Bobcats' acquisition of Ben Gordon makes it unlikely Beal would be their choice, but trades have been discussed -- but not likely any lower than fifth, where the Sacramento Kings are scheduled to pick.

One potential major trade chip for the Thunder is James Harden, the Sixth Man of the Year in 2012 and a free agent after next season.
