(Photo by Britney McIntosh | UK Athletics) The locker room at the University of Kentucky’s famed Rupp Arena is undergoing construction, and what better way to spruce up one of college basketball’s iconic cathedrals then to have a portion of the floor from the 2012 Final Four in New Orleans—the same floor where UK won it’s eighth National Championship this past year—installed in the locker room floor.  And by portion I mean a whopping 3000 sq. feet of the court where Anthony Davis, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Doron Lamb and the rest of the Wildcats triumphed in the NCAA tournament. Said Coach John Calipari (via the Official Site of the Kentucky Wildcats)… “I’m not sure I’ve heard of any other locker room doing anything like this,” Calipari said. “But then again, it seems like here at Kentucky we do a lot of things that have never been done.” “When you walk on the floor, this is it; this is the floor we won the national title (on) in 2012 and that was the free throw that Doron Lamb made
